Which flooring?
It all depends on what type of flooring you would like – Karndean, tiles or vinyl, for the finished look and aesthetic. All three options will indeed give you lots of styles and designs. So it really is personal choice as to what you go for.
Tile design
Choosing a tile design can create a beautiful style even with the simplest of colours. It can be all in the placement. Tiling designs are not only extremely practical and a great choice for a bathroom floor but they are a great way to add a pop of colour into a fairly neutral space. The great thing with a tile look is there is usually almost any type of colour or style that you could think of. Square tiles, rectagonal or hexagonal, you will create a wonderful finished look.
Floorboards
We don’t normally recommend actual floorboards in bathrooms, due to them consistently becoming wet. Although some older style properties still have them and they look amazing! However Karndean and also vinyl flooring can offer you a floorboard style finish. Whether you’re after a dark mahogony, a deep oak type of flooring, right through to a washed floorboard or a white look, they all look amazing.
Marble flooring
Sometimes people shy away from a patterned floor as they think it might make the room seem busy or smaller. But, we know, when done right, a patterned floor can create an incredibly unique and give you a real show stopping space. A firm favourite of our customers is marble flooring. A marble finish is a great choice when you want to add a uniqueness without being too daring with colour or styles. Often, a marble floor is white and grey but, you can really cater to the theme of your bathroom by choosing a grey, black or other variations of marble effect.
Patterned flooring
Why not be bold and go for a unique patterned flooring. The beauty of your new bathroom is it’s exactly that, yours! So go for that “stand out” patterned flooring and don’t be shy! There are some incredible patterns for flooring that can completely change the look of your space. With new trends coming and going, it can be hard to be sure what the best option is for you, that you will never get bored with. There are such incredible variations of flooring out there, the choices can be endless.
If you are going for something a little different but not too “out there”, a hexagonal shape pattern can be perfect. It adds uniqueness without being too much.
