This was an interesting job to complete as it was another triple bathroom renovation! Our clients had bought a lovely bathroom in 2023 and then decided to move to a new property in Alfriston, which needed a complete renovation.
So we were called in and tasked to complete three rooms in their new house for them; a new bathroom, ensuite wet room and cloakroom. All three rooms needed to have a slightly different scheme so they were subtly different.
Main bathroom
Here, we removed a cupboard in their main bathroom which created enough space to install a 900 x 760 shower cubicle with an amazing infold door from Flair showers. We also fitted an Aqualisa Smart Quartz shower into this room.
The client wanted exactly the same bath as the previous house so we supplied a Bette Ocean steel bath here with an Aqualisa smart fill bath filler. The bath was centralised on the back wall under the window and we created a stud wall with niches and downlights.
For the basin area we used a Saneux Hyde wall hung unit, with a recessed bathroom cabinet in the wall which looked stunning.
The Heated rail is a JIS Finden Heated rail with rails over the front, allowing towels to hang down in front so heat can still radiate out.
The tiles were from Verona and we used a Karndean Flooring which finished everything off really well.
Ensuite
This redesigned ensuite had a storage room to the side so we made the room 200mm wider to allow a run of Roper Rhodes furniture along the back window wall.
The client wanted a full wet room here so we also fitted a pocket sliding door allowing more space in the room. The wet room was created using a Bewi Jackoboard wet room solution with tray angled down to the waste and a Flair 8mm sliding door in their ETO range.
Another Aqualisa shower was installed into this ensuite with a remote switch to turn it on which is a great new addition.
All the tiling was supplied by Verona.
Cloakroom
For the downstairs cloakroom, we fitted a concealed cistern with Calypso fitted furniture, with a wall hung unit also from Calypso.
Karndean flooring and Verona tiles finished this space off beautifully.
