Which Style Bath Should I Choose?
When customers make their initial bathroom enquiry with us, one of the questions we often get asked is which style bath should I choose? Many people are very set on a specific shape, if they even want a new bath, but a lot of customers will take on board our comments and ideas when it comes to the shape and size of a new bath. So here is a summary of the types of bath shape you can have:

Rectangular Bath
This is the classic style and will fit most standard bathrooms. It has a contemporary look and can be styled in many different ways.
Oval or Circular
An oval bath is one of the most modern and popular choices. Many customers love the idea of an oval bath, that will sit away from the wall a little and is often freestanding. Oval baths sit very well in a large bathroom or in front of a window, if that is your choice. They take up a bit more room and so can make a smaller bathroom look a little full if they stick out too much. However, there are different sizes, and some people opt for a smaller length oval bath as they like this style and want this look in their bathroom, often regardless of comfort!
Corner Bath
A corner bath is for when there is more space or perhaps an awkward shaped bathroom. Perhaps not quite so popular as they once were, corner baths take up a fair bit of room and may often not give you enough space to stretch out.
Single Ended Bath
A single ended bath is great for space efficiency with one end being more reclined than the other.
Double Ended Bath
These are a great choice if you have more room in your bathroom and are ideal for couples who like to share a bath together!
Roll Top Bath
The most decadent of them all…the roll top bath. A freestanding bath that is one step on from the oval bath above. Many customers love the idea of having a roll top bath, especially if they like to bathe rather than shower. This is the ultimate in luxury!
The Size of Bath
When choosing the perfect bath for your bathroom, size plays a huge role in both comfort and functionality. If it is too small then you won’t be able to stretch out properly and it may not allow full immersion into the water. However it will be more cost effective and faster to fill as well as saving space.
If it is a large bath then it will take up much more room and have a much longer filling time. However it is great if you have lots of kids and also if you like to bathe together. A large bath can offer a more spa like experience and you can become fully immersed.

Taps
The Style
With taps, you can choose freestanding or wall mounted taps. They can be installed at the end or in the middle of the bath, depending on the look and style of your bath choice. You could opt for mixer taps as well as shower mixers, waterfall taps, pillar taps, monobloc taps or even floor mounted taps! And then what about colour and finish?
Colour and Finish
Chrome, black, brass, bronze, nickel, gold or silver taps? There is even rose gold, gunmetal or copper… there really is lots of choice. Then you can also choose a matt finish, satin, brushed steel or chrome. Many people use different names for these, but please talk to us about the style and finish you are thinking when it comes to your bath taps.
